Bell County is located north of Austin in Central Texas. This captivating region renowned for its rich history, diverse culture, and exciting activities. Encompassing cities such as Belton, Temple, and Killeen, this area offers a unique blend of natural beauty and vibrant communities.

The County boasts a storied past, dating back to its establishment in the mid-19th century. Visitors can explore historic downtowns in cities like Belton, where beautifully preserved Victorian architecture stands as a testament to its rich heritage. The Bell County Museum offers a fascinating journey through the region’s history, highlighting its cultural significance during the Civil War and the Chisholm Trail era.

Nature enthusiasts will find an abundance of outdoor activities to enjoy here. Belton Lake and Stillhouse Hollow Lake offer opportunities for boating, fishing, camping, and hiking, surrounded by lush greenery and scenic landscapes. Chalk Ridge Falls Park is a hidden gem in the area.
