Rockport Beach

Rockport is home to the first blue wave beach in Texas.

Other popular attractions in Rockport include the Fulton Mansion State Historic Site, the Rockport Center for the Arts, and the TX Maritime Museum. 

Nearby Aransas National Wildlife Refuge is home to an amazing bird sanctuary, observation towers, and a scenic drive.

Surfside Beach

Surfside Beach, located near Freeport, is one of our favorite beach towns in Texas.

The beach is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, surfing, and beachcombing.

The fishing jetty is also great to walk and see the crashing waves.

If you’re looking for something a little more adventurous, you can go windsurfing, kitesurfing, or wakeboarding.

There are also plenty of restaurants and shops in the area, so you can explore the local culture in Surfside Beach.

Tip – Be sure to stay safe in the pedestrian beach area limit with the kids.

East Beach, Galveston Island

East Beach is a nice, clean, sandy beach in Galveston.

The beach is situated on the eastern end of the island, and it offers a wide range of activities for visitors to enjoy.

Build a sandcastle, lounge on the beach chairs, surf the waves, or catch up on a book – the options are endless at East Beach!

There are also many restaurants and bars located nearby, making it easy to grab a bite or a drink after a day spent at this popular Galveston beach.

North Beach, Corpus Christi

Visitors can enjoy a variety of activities such as swimming, sunbathing, fishing, sailing, windsurfing, and golfing.

There are also many restaurants, bars, and shops in the area.

On the southern edge of the island, you will find Isla Blanca Park.

The park has a variety of beach amenities as well as a boardwalk.

The beaches here are extremely crowded during Spring Break and host several parties, events, and festivals.

The South Padre Island Adventure Park is also located close to the beach.
