  1. I live in Hood County, just south of Granbury. The square is nice but bring your wallet. Everything is overpriced. The Lake is an overcrowded nightmare and dangerous during the summer. The beach is a joke. The traffic is horrible and getting worse. The one shining star is just outside the square. The Hotel Lucy with it’s Gift Shop, The Pearl. Excellent and I’m not connected with either in any way. We locals avoid the town if at all possible.
